A 19th century policeman's wooden truncheon. At the base of the shaft, just above the handle in white paint is 'No.2 S.H.T.This refers to the Swansea Harbour Trust.
Founded in 1791 Swansea Harbour Trust had its own police force, separate from that of the County Borough police force.
