Retired GP Dr David Parry who was awarded the BMA Gold Medal awarded for his part in attending a serious accident at the Coney beach fair ground Porthcawl in April 1994
Dr Parry presented Porthcawl Museum with his Citation. also in the photograph are local civic leaders, Mrs Moon MP for Bridgend, Mr John David Late Chairman Porthcawl Museum and the father of a young boy who sadly lost his life in the accident
