The old school built in 1878 and demolished in 1971. This picture was taken in about 1920-21, a couple of years before Mr T R Davies retired after serving as headmaster for 37 years.
A new road to the school was constructed and opened in 1930 on land bought by Llansantffraed Parish Council in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
