Ffotograff o Bethlehem gan Evan Samuel Rees yn ystod WW1, 20 Chwefror, 1918
Disgrifiadau
Nodyn ar y cefn gan Pte E. S. Rees yn darllen:
“Bethlehem, the town where Christ was born, it was rather a nasty day when this photo was taken, raining heavily: note, the sun striking on the town in the distance. A very quaint place, the photograph was taken when we was on the ??? & just entering into the reknown place. The Church I have previously mentioned about is situated under the x, the actual place where the barn and stable was situated.”
Ymunodd Evan Samuel Rees a’r fyddin yn 19 oed a gwasanaethodd yn y Dwyrain Canol yn ystod y Rhyfel Byd Cyntaf. Rhif medal: 1669, PTE E.S. Rees gyda'r R.A.M.C (Corfflu Meddygol y Fyddin Brenhinol). Goroesodd y Rhyfel Fawr a dychwelyd adref i fyw yn ardal Abertawe lle gafodd ei eni.
