Thanks very much for your comment, I hope you've been able to show the photograph to your father. If he has any memories of working at the Woollen Mill, we'd love to hear them.

The boy Arfon Davies born 1935
will be 81 in November 2016. Proud that his 'singing' granddaughter Rebecca Trehearn will be performing in the opening concert of this years National Eisteddfod along with Only Men Aloud, and is about to open as Julie Laverne in 'Showboat' in Londons West End, 9/4/16.

Just to add for the people of old Penmachno, Rebecca Trehearn, the granddaughter of Arfon Davies,was awarded an 'Olivier' in the Albert Hall on sunday the 9th April 2017 for ' Best supporting actress in a musical ' Wonder if the boy could have ever have dreamed of something like that while he worked at the loom :)
