This newspaper cutting from the Caernarfon & Denbigh Herald 22/9/1916is about Griffith Williams my grandfather from Beddgelert who was taken POW by the Germans in WW1. He was in the Royal Field Artillery and held in poor POW conditions in Germany. He returned home to Beddgelert in 1919.
