Calfaria(1880) Calfaria was built in 1880 on Marian Street, Clydach Vale. Calfaria was a Welsh Baptist Chapel with a capacity for 600 people. The chapel membership was 385 chapel members at the 1904 revival with 300 sunday scholars. The congregation dwindled over the years with a congregation of 60 by the 1970's. During the 1990's the chapel was converted into a detached house but kept some of the original features of the chapel.
