Disgrifiad
The photograph was taken from the castle walls and shows the start of the demolitionof the East side of Castle St. in the early 1990's to make way for a shopping precinct. The building with the curved wall at the road junction is the site of the Napoleonic war armoury where the local militia stored arms.
