Plaza de platerías is the only romanesque facade preserved. It was built between 1103 and 1117 and subsequent centuries have been adding elements from other parts of the cathedral.
The square of Platerías is bounded by the cathedral and cloister on two sides, adjoining the cathedral is the Casa del Cabildo. It has two entrance doors with archivolts degradation and drums that narrate a story. The archivolts are sustained by eleven pilasters, three are of white marble (the central and end) and the rest of granite. the central figures are twelve prophets and apostles on the sideline. On the spandrels is a large frieze of the upper body is separated by a strip supported by corbels grotesque, in this floor are two windows that are decorated with Romanesque archivolts.
