Plaza de platerías is the only romanesque facade preserved. It was built between 1103 and 1117 and subsequent centuries have been adding elements from other parts of the cathedral.

The archivolts are sustained by eleven pilasters, three are of white marble (the central and end) and the rest of granite. the central figures are twelve prophets and apostles on the sideline. On the spandrels is a large frieze of the upper body is separated by a strip supported by corbels grotesque, in this floor are two windows that are decorated with Romanesque archivolts.
