KIRAN Cymru as a part of its dedicated programme 'South Asian Heritage Society Cymru' has organised a community discussion, in May 2026, about food and South Asian diaspora living in Wales. 

The intergenerational participants from South Asian countries, India and Bangladesh,  have taken part in this discussion. It was an open discussion, held in Cardiff, in unjudgemental atmosphere. 

The participants share their opinions and experiences on the following points:

1st question - Their food habit before immigration

2 nd question - Their food habit after immigration

3rd question - How do they keep in touch with their friends and families? The whole discussion was conducted in Bengali.
