BERRYFIELD COTTAGE,
ASHFORD,
PETERSFIELD.
Early June, 1907
My dear Gordon,
My thanks for 'Chambers of Imagery' which
I shall probably read on my way to you for I am
crammed with work & Davies in the intervals. Oh, de
la Mare likes your 'Dairymaids to Pan': I will bring his
'Brocken', but may I keep the Wilder because I can't
finish with them until I have written my articles, a thing I
can't do till I must which will be when the complete Wilde
comes. But I shall not have Marteino's London, I fear.
I am perhaps staying Wednesday night at Northampton & am
asking my host there to tell me all about trains to Cark.
When I hear I will let you know mine. If you write to
give me leave to return the Wilder, tell me what sort of
weather is most likely & if I might expect to be rainproof.
The proofs & quotation all right.
Yours ever
Edward Thomas
