My dear Emily & Gordon,
This is not a vain attempt to
thank you fittingly for making my 10 days on
holiday, the most pleasant I can remember
since I was a child. I think an expression that makes
Emily laugh). But I write just to say that I
have got home to my work again & am
glad as a fine warm day & the happiness of
Helen & the children. It seems dear, by the way, that
we have soon got to move.
I have written 10 letters & have
now got reviews & articles & books to write &
Bellois portrait to paint - for there my chief present
qualification is a headache, so you at least must
not endeavor elaborately to neglect just send what
books I could remember by the Ahenobarbe. Let me
know that you are well. Goodbye.

Will Gordon write 1000 words in some of the flowers
