The Mask society, an amateur dramatic society in Penarth, put on "Lady Precious Stream" in 1936. Written by Hsiung Shih-i, it had been first performed in the west end in 1935.
The play ws put on in All Saints Rooms, Penarth, and was produced by Louis Bielski and John Gibbs. The proceeds of £35 went to the National Childrens Home.
