Gwasanaethodd Colin Charles Standish fel Capten, M.M., 19th Canadian Infantry, Central Ontario Regiment. Lladdwyd ar faes y gad ar 9 Mai 1917 yn Ffrainc. Fe'i claddwyd ym Mynwent Filwrol Ecoivres, Mont-St-Eloi, Ffrainc, rhwng Arras a'r Vimy Ridge. Mae hefyd wedi ei goffau ar Groglen Goffa'r Rhyfel Mawr, Eglwys All Saints', Y Mwmbwls, Abertawe.
Adroddodd y South Wales Daily Post:
'After being wounded, he was awarded the Military Medal and promoted in the field. Whilst being a descendent of Standish De Standish, he was also a prominent member of Mumbles Football Club. Colin Standish left the district about eight years ago for America and gave up a splendid position to join the first Canadian contingent. He was wounded in the arm, thigh, calf and foot by a bomb. He was the only son of Charles who only lost his wife a few months ago'.
