This is a photograph of a RAF tunic dating back to the 1950s. Mr David "Dai" Griffith wore this tunic when serving in Cyprus with 34 squadron RAF Regiment. Amazingly Dai kept some uniform stored away and they are a remarkable reminder of his RAF service. This particular tunic is the warm weather uniform issued to him. Dai's memoirs of Cyprus and his time in the RAF can be viewed online in the David Griffiths RAF collection on the West Wales Veterans Archive at the Peoples Collection Wales website.
