This is a photograph of British Army Veteran Derrick Clarke taken in 2019. The image was used on the cover of Derrick's book, which was published in 2020 and is reproduced here with the permission of Derrick. The book tells the story of Derricks time in the British Army completing National Service during 1958 to 1960. A filmed interview with Derrick can be viewed online in the Derrick Clarke collection at the Peoples Collection Wales website at the West Wales Veterans Archive.
