The photograph was taken looking towards Tylorstown in 1981. The Bridgend Hotel is lower left and the disused Capel Zion upper right. Now Ty Capel Zion it was converted into housing. The layout of the area has changed. The Bridgend Hotel was demolished to make for a roundabout for the new A4233 bypass.
