This photograph was taken by RN Sailor Laurence Brown as he surveys the wreckage of RN ship Sir Tristram L3505 harboured in the Falkland Islands. The ship was fatally damaged during an Argentine air attack whilst transporting soldiers at Fitzroy Cove. Many soldiers lost their lives during the attack on two RN ships.
