Here is the first audio recording we have done for the Timeline website. We interviewed Gary Jones a resident of the village for the last 88 years. In it he talks about his schooling days, and his working life. He also explains the accident he had and the injuries he received whilst driving the shaft for the last deep mine, Blaengwarch colliery
