Mr. William Alun Jones, born in 1941, shares his memories of growing up in Glantawe, Ystradgynlais Ystradgynlais Library is grateful to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, CADW and the Welsh Government for funding this project.
William Alun Jones gives a mental map of how he remembers Glantawe in is childhood, discussing and describing: childhood sports and games, and local entertainment; local landmarks such as the shops, cafes, local cinema, welfare hall, railway line, and the rugby field.
