May I respectfully comment that the photograph is not of Penarth Dock nor is it of the Ely Tidal Harbour. There were no wooden quays of this type within the dock, the basin or the harbour. Also the coal tips at the rear are not Penarth. Alas, I am unable to offer a alternative location for this photograph. Regards Dai-the-Rat.
