Disgrifiad

This photograph shows the beginning of construction of the Lysaght Steelworks. Little is known about the men in the photograph or what exactly it is they are constructing. This photograph was donated to the Lysaght Institute by the Orb Steelworks when it closed its doors in 2020. It has been made possible to share this picture with thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
