Thomas John Pearce
Was born Newport Mon in July 1921 and was living in Sycamore Avenue Newport Mon, with his parents Edward and Amy and worked at Lysaghts, Thomas was a Sargent Air Gunner in the Royal Air Force (Volunteer Reserve) he was killed when his plane was shot down while on an air raid on the 13th December 1941, aged 20 he his remembered on the R.A.F. Runnymede Memorial Surrey.
