Disgrifiadau

Scientific Name: Muttinus caninus
Fungi facts: The Dog Stinkhorn is a rather rude looking fungus which is found growing in small groups in conifer plantations and close to rotting wood. The spore mass is present in a sticky mass at the end of the stalk which attracts insects because of its smell which resembles rotting flesh. Insects thus help spread the spores to other sources of well rotted timber.
Technique: A textile assemblage with hand stitching
