Tagell Frau gan Carole Evans

Disgrifiadau

Scientific Name:Russula sp
Fungi facts:These ‘Brittle-gill’ fungi are so called because the white gills underneath the cap which produce the spores are very fragile and break up when handled. They form mycorrhizal relationships with trees in both deciduous and coniferous woodlands. The cap colour varies tremendously within the group ranging from bright red to pale fawn. Some species are extremely poisonous but slugs seem to be unaffected!
