Scientific Name:Stropharia rugosoannulata
Fungi facts:Commonly known as the King Stropharia this species can grow up to 20cm. It has a characteristic reddish brown cap which can be up to 30 cm in diameter, hence its other colloquial name – Godzilla mushroom. It is widely regarded as a choice edible mushroom and is grown commercially in certain parts of the world.
