Notes on MINES AT YSBYTY CYNFYN, Ceredigion 2011

The path that leads to these mines is now closed - it is a shame since there is much to see. The walk is short through the ancient oak woodland and the sound of the river Rheidol is constant. Bilberries grow rampantly along the steep river banks and the overgrowth is slowly reclaiming the mining slag heaps.
