The west facing bay platform at Llantrisant, used by trains to Penygraig and some services to Pontypridd. The two coaches are conversions from the Taff Vale Railway steam railcars, but as the locomotive is ex GWR 5600 class 0-6-2T it is most likely to be a Pontypridd service, as this type of locomotive was not fitted for push-pull train working.
I think the photographer is Ian Wright.
