A handmade scrapbook found in the Cowbridge Youth Club building (the old magistratesí court) in 2013, was handed in to the Town Council, and subsequently passed to Cowbridge History Room. It appears to have been compiled by Anthony Jaynes (Tony), the elder brother of one of the girls on the holiday, though he did not go himself.

It is an account of a trip in 1957 to Sorrento at a time when most people did not venture beyond the shores of Britain.

The scrapbook has now been digitised for the local history archive, and passed to Glamorgan Record Office.
